If a number of Americans are asked if they know what is happening to white people in South Africa, invariably the majority of responses, especially from young people, will run something like: “There are white people in Africa?” The few respondents who at least know that millions of whites still live on the “dark continent” can usually recollect information prior to the end of white South African rule–so called Apartheid–because that is all we ever hear about South Africa. The South Africa Project Rally! hopes to change that.

March 21st is internationally known as “White Pride World Wide Day.” While the day is not yet officially recognized by any national governments, it would be nice for that to eventually be the case. White people, like other people, enjoy celebrating good parts of ourselves, and it would be of great benefit to our people if more of us were to be aware of and take part in a holiday of this sort, like a collective pat-on-the-back.

Taxed Enough Already

Now, more than ever, Americans increasingly feel the burden we are obliged to shoulder on behalf of government expenditure. What many of us do not consider, however, is the endlessness of this problem. We fail to realize that the need to increase taxes is a certainty under current circumstances. As with any supply and demand formula, an increase in the use of government benefits must be paid for by taxpayers. When the level of needy individuals outpaces that of current government revenues, an increase in the rate of taxation is the inevitable outcome.
